Bring the whole family for Storytime at the Redding Library on the Second Saturday of each month! Family Storytime is geared towards families and will have activities after each story.

Tim Holt will be performing and discussing the songs of Tom Paxton, Utah Phillips, Woody Guthrie and a number of others in a program that will include railroad songs, hobo songs, songs of the Western migration, and Dust Bowl ballads. He'll encourage everyone to sing along on classics like "500 Miles," "The Wabash Cannonball," and Woody Guthrie's Dust Bowl ballad, "So Long It's Been Good To Know Ya."

Meet at the front gates to the Redding Cemetery, known now as Redding Memorial Park at 11:00am on the second Wednesday of each month. The tours will highlight people who reside at Redding Memorial Park, some of whom have national notoriety. They will also explain some facts about local fraternities and how they founded the cemetery. This event is Rain or Shine.
